I can hear the angels play.

For those of you who don't know. I'm pretty much way open to supernatural occurrences and believe in healing, miracles, that sort of stuff. All that to say that I experienced something so out there on Friday night that some of you may not believe what I'm about to say.

So anyway, I went Friday night over to the Restoration Life Christian Center, a tiny little building over on Harpersville Rd., for a Burn meeting. What Burn does, is about once a month, a bunch of on fire Christians get together for a night of crying out to the Lord through praise, worship, dancing, art, preaching, etc. It's basically a night guided by the direction of the Holy Spirit, and it's awesome. So we're in the middle of it all, and the Holy Spirit's presence is so thick and real and the music is going great and the crowd starts dancing. Then one of the musicians says, "I think I heard flutes. But I don't see anybody playing a flute. Let's keep going with this." So the band starts playing again and I start to hear flutes all around me as loud as the music coming from the stage. I look all around me and I see no flutes. I look back on the stage, no flutes. Finally, I came to the conclusion that I was hearing a heavenly presence, more than likely angels, accompanying the band, in harmony no less, and it sounded like they were standing all around me. God was moving mightily that night and I got to be a part of it. Woooooooo! I think God's got a plan for this Peninsula and I want to be a part of it.

I want more of you Jesus! Bring the rain!

  1. I wish I could have been there. I used to play flute and I would go in my own world sometimes just worshipping. Let me know when the next one is! :)

  2. nice. just got invited to a burn down here. may have to check it out now and look for your illusive flute.
