Christmas Eve setup

Well today I've just been chilling around the house playing some old
video games and doing not much of anything. However, that's about to
change. At 10:45 tonight I'm setting up for my church's Christmas Eve
Service. It's just my way of showing my love for my church. I am also
preparing for Passion 06 by praying every day that God would prepare my
heart for a change that only He can make. If you could pray too that
God would move in a mighty way in my life and in the lives of everyone
attending I would greatly appreciate it. Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow
with more info about what's going on in my life.

Christmas and Passion 06

Well everybody, today was a good day. My grandfather's in town. I've been spending some time with him. But I spent most of the day watching movies with my best friend, Josh Pothen. It's pretty cool. The highlight of the day was watching one of my favorite movies, Back to the Future.

The exciting thing is what's coming up in the days ahead. Christmas is just 3 days away for one. On Christmas Eve, we have the fabulous Waters Edge Christmas service, guaranteed to have a good time there. Next day is Christmas with the family, always a delight. But the most exciting event is a week after that, Passion 06, 4 days of experiencing God through prayer, fellowship with other believers, music, and preaching. Of course there's a great 11 hour road trip to and from Nashville where the conference is being held. But it's gonna be good. I've always loved every road trip I've been on. It's always a good way to get to know people and build relationships. It's not to late to sign up for those of you who haven't. Online registration ends the 28th. For of those of you reading this who are going, I hope to see you there. If you would like to contact me before hand, you can email me at davidferrell@cox.net, I'd love to meet a new brother or sister in Christ. If you're not going, please pray that God will touch each of our lives in a new way and bring what we learn back to our campuses and homes. I plan to post here during the event if at all possible to report what's going on. It all depends on whether or not I can bring the machine I am typing on with me. We'll see. Anyways, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a wonderful holiday season. I love you all.

Well, everybody, I'm nearing the end of final exam week, only two more days to go, then i'm FREE, praise God! I'm so excited about Passion in a couple weeks, then not long after that I'm going to be a groomsman in a wedding. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway, I hope everyone who reads this has a Merry Christmas, yes I said it, for all you liberals out there, and Happy Holidays. If you're a friend of mine and wanna get together over break let me know. Check back soon for updates in the life of me, David Ferrell.

Surprisingly I'm in a pretty good mood right now. Mainly because I'm looking forward to a few events in the near future. The most recent is my friends b-day party on Saturday. I don't get to see this friend that often so it'll be cool. Second is the opening of "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." Third is Winter Break, 3 days of which I will be in Nashville, TN at Passion 06. If you don't know what that is, ask me later. The only bad thing is before break is this thing called exam week. Ugh. Why do they throw the hard stuff and the at the end of the semester anyway? Anyway, for those of you who want to go see the new Narnia movie, I'm thinking about gathering a group of people together to go see it late after the Christmas dinner. My contact info is on facebook. Check ya later.

Today was a long day at work. I'm glad that's over with now. Also, between yesterday and today, was a drastic temperature change. It was probably in the 60s or 70s and now it's in the 40s/50s. Wierd, huh? Anyway, I drove all the way back to school so I could meet with my marketing team and plan our presentation. Now I'm just waiting to know when we're meeting.
On a different note, I'm very glad that the semester is almost over. 3 weeks of no college whatsoever definitely has a certain appeal. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
Also, the movie night last night was horrible. The movie we watched was "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days" a movie with definite ual overtones and a high use of inappropriate language. Funny, yes, but at what expense? We definitely had better choices, such as "Radio" and "Rudy" which I believe everyone would have enjoyed and are much cleaner movies. The dessert was good, but I ended up not really having a good time. I feel like I wasted my time at the BSU. I think in the future, we should try coming to a consensus on what movie we watch or just find an alternative to watching a movie. I mean I probably would have preferred just a time of interaction and fellowship than watching a movie. I do enjoy movies, but developing friendships and sharing life with one another is far more important. Well, maybe next time. Anyway, that's all for now. I'll check back later.
